Dakota not likely hospital.

I hope she likes it a bit more when Amelia arrives so we can get some cute family pictures!

This is what she was like for basically the whole time they were there. I think she just didn't want to see me or something! I'm sure the other patients were wondering what was going on. I managed to get her calmed down a bit towards the end though, thankfully. Even if she was trying to escape!

Hospital fun - bedrest hell.

So, sorry for not being here so much the past few days. I got taken into hospital (AGAIN) on Thursday night for high blood pressure. Only got home this morning. They have managed to regulate it a little but it is still very high, so full time bedrest for me. Until at least it comes down. Doctor says he will review it next week and if it is back to a suitable level he will take the bedrest off a little, but it is important that I keep it down because it could have been causing the placenta to pull away! Eeek. I hate to think if he hadn't managed to catch it!

Wordless Wednesday - Young love.

She's still a baby!

As Dakota is a big girl for her age and I'm pregnant again and everything, sometimes I think we all forget she is still a baby. At least in my eyes anyway. 14 months is still a baby! People seem to nearly stop me in the street now thinking she is older than she is, I even get confused sometimes. She is just too smart for her own good! There's one baby thing in her that is definitely not leaving though, and that is her love of the bottle! She still ALWAYS needs a bottle before bed, I'm not in any rush for her to outgrow it though, "bobo" is good! :)

This made me laugh!

Todd Carty from UK hit show : "Dancing on Ice"

Just TOO funny!

Spoon using superstar!

OK, so we have been trying Dakota with spoons and things lately. We had gotten totally slack on it, but then some ladies I post with (yes PP's!) brought it up, so I thought, gosh, we need to get her started again. She hasn't been doing so bad, except for the fact more than half the food goes on the floor! We are getting there!

Daily dose of bathtime cuteness!

Come on, it's a "regular feature" now!

Wordless Wednesday - "I'm away out!"

99 days to go!

Yesterday marked 100 days until Amelia is coming. Or, should be here. Who knows if she'll arrive before that, but if she is not here in 99 days time she is getting served her eviction notice! It is crazy, I remember looking at my ticker when it had way over 200 days thinking the time was never going to come around. Instead it is flying in! Pregnancy is so different when you already have one to look after.

She loves her baby.

She is going to be a fantastic big sister. She got her "baba" for Christmas and seriously, does everything for it. It's so cute. She even gave up her Elmo chair for baba!

Bangs are VERY annoying.

I am starting to wonder why I ever got them! I don't know, I have had some compliments on them, some people think as I do, it was probably better without them.

I just can't stick having hair in my face. I thought I would be totally hip and go for some new "cool" styles and do something different than the drab hair I had before. But this is bad! I find myself trying to steal the clips off Kota so that I can wear them myself. I don't care if they were made for toddlers, this hair on my head is killing me.

On another note, D is having some bang problems of her own too. Her hair is finally growing, but it is still so wispy and not long enough to be cut into a style, but there are just random bits hanging about everywhere. I don't want to cut it because I want her hair to grow, but it is just so crazy around the place. She has so much hanging at the front and barely any at the back.

Hair problems, like Mommy like daughter.

Fed up

With everything right now!

I am in such a blog rut. It seems to go, a few good positive posts.. then BAM... negative depressing Anna!

But my laptop is not back yet. I am actually getting upset at how long it is taking. Apparently there is nothing wrong, but I just miss it. I have a serious addiction. I feel like everyone is watching me while I type her. Yes, MIL is the only other person here and although she can manage English speaking pretty well, it would take her a while to figure it all out. But still, I get paranoid. I am ready to go down there and kick the company's ass! Come on, hurry up and fix my damn laptop. More than likely it is the sort of job you need to press one button and get it all fixed again, that is the sort of thing Daniel thought it was. Oh well, hopefully soon.

Until then I cannot feel happy. I need to do something about this addiction. Advice?

Oh and in advance - detox is NOT an option. I love my laptop too much!

25 weeks

I can't believe all this time is going by so fast!

How much fun can be had with a box?

Lots and lots, apparently.

This is the first time Amelia has kinda got "in the way" of pictures too. I kinda like that. Hello Mia! I have new belly pictures, but I will save them for tomorrow. Enough for one day.

The Rules of a Toddler!

Found this over at Young Mom looking for a nap, and thought it had to be shared. Very cute, and true! Definitely for my toddler anyway.

Computer Problems

OK, so, I think I posted it here my laptop broke.

It just shut down on me and wouldn't switch on at all. So off to the Polish computer fixer office it went. Haha.

This was like a week, it hasn't come back yet. Daniel rang today to ask them because he works with computers himself and I mean, if they aren't going to fix it he can poke at it a bit longer. So they say whoever is working on it isn't in just yet, but they will ring us back as soon as he arrives.

They haven't rang yet. I am just upset because it has some recent pics on it I have managed to get saved onto discs yet and I really don't want to lose them. Plus, I have to go on the main computer right now and I am just not used to it at all. The keyboard is messed up and I just don't like the big screen. I like my laptop privacy!

Stupid Polish computer fixer offices.

Wordless Wednesday - The Kids Are Alright.

Something Polish for once.

Ok, I have started to realise I really don't post anything about the culture or anything here enough! So, for those of you who may be interested, here is a video of Daniel's cousins singing a Polish medieval carol on Christmas Eve. They are really great singers, I hate anything Polish and I enjoyed it. Haha. You get a slight view of Dakota at the end as well!

Not Me Monday!

I did NOT just basically set a whole day away to take new belly pictures and then delete them all because I thought they were ugly.
I did NOT complain about how cold it was for the whole week, but wear a t-shirt out on a walk yesterday.
I did NOT cry whenever Dakota got her finger stuck in the car door.
I did NOT eat like 10 bars of chocolate today.
I did NOT just promise FIL I would photocopy like 10 pages for him to stop him looking over me on the computer and then forget to do them all. Ooops. He came over looking for them a minute ago and I was like "Just doing it now." Got too carried away!

Our fun day out yesterday!

Hate to have to go to bed on a bad note, so here is my better more upbeat blog. Haha.

Yesterday Dakota & I had a nice afternoon out with my friend Claire from church! Her son Jakub is 3 months older than Dakota and it was our first time getting the kids today. Dakota actually did great, she wasn't letter Jake boss her about at all! He is adorable and so placid, unlike my little monster!

OK, so for some reason my pictures upload in the wrong order now. But you get the idea! It was a ton of fun. She also let me see what it was like having 2 kids in the double stroller. I am still undecided whether we will go for one, even yesterday Dakota wasn't too keen on it. She far rather would be out there causing havoc!

Later never comes.

Yes, that seems like me all the time.

Today is just "one of those days". I am pretty fed up right now.

I feel I am almost halfway through my pregnancy now, and we've done nothing. Nothing is organized. Right, I don't and didn't want to organize it to early, but we have done nothing.

Actually, nothing. I met up with a friend yesterday (pics coming later), to see what getting a double stroller would be like. I reported back to Daniel on it and he asked me why we needed to decide just yet. That is his answer to everything - I am just scared everything is going to get left too late.

IF we do decide we have to stay with his parents a while longer, we need to convert the spare room to a room for Dakota. Admittedly, I haven't been pushing that much either, because I want to move out. Now I am starting to see Daniel has no plans what-so-ever to move out. It is just kinda sad when he won't even discuss it with me. Of course I would rather move, but if we have to stay, we stay. It's just he won't even discuss a time scale or anything with me, I think he is getting settled to stay here for the rest of our lives.

Decorating a room for Dakota just seems so, final. But I don't know what I really expected when I agreed to come here anymore. He has now got a full time job, full time as in, forever. This to me, was always temporary. I think we just have different ideas about it all.

Which is sad. I can work at it, but I just want him to talk about it with me. He won't even talk. He just ignores me on everything I say and changes the subject, saying we can "discuss it later". Later NEVER comes.

Hey guys!

Hey guys, Dakota here. Just wanted to update you all why Mommy hasn't been able to update her blog in a week. That is terrible, even for Mommy!
My baby sister Amelia has not been behaving too good. She is causing Mommy to have contractions again, really regular. So Mommy has been getting scared Amelia is going to come out too soon. But she went for a preterm labor screening test today and everything is OK. Apparently Amelia shouldn't come anywhere in the near future anyway. She just likes playing tricks on Mommy. Hehe, I think we will be great friends!

Anyway, I have been being a good girl and helping Mommy lots in the past week. I even helped her with her laundry!

I've even been sitting in my highchair with no complaints and haven't been trying to climb out.

Of course, I've found some time to chill too. My new Christmas Elmo chair is pretty fun, I can position it to right in front of the TV!

I've been doing some coloring too. I got new crayons and they are so cool, lots of pretty colors!

& of course, no matter what the problem is, there is always time for some bathtime cuteness!

Toodles, Dakota!

Mirror, Mirror on the wall....

.. or, not on the wall...

Dakota is obviously the prettiest of them all!

She has such an obsession with mirrors. I think she just likes seeing her pretty face. Ever since she was a small baby, she has just cracked up seeing herself in the mirror. This below picture is from when she was around 8 or 9 months, but you get the idea. It's so cute to see her giggle when she sees herself in it!

Chrismtas in pictures!

Happy New Year!

From our family to yours!

Yes, I am home. Still pretty tired and busy unpacking but we had a great trip, and a lovely new years party last night at SIL's house. Life isn't so bad!

I will upload and do crazy amount of picture posts later on!

Love to all!
